Brawl Stars Bull Basic Info

Bull is a Rare Tank Brawler who specializes in close-range combat and objective control. Armed with a powerful shotgun, Bull deals enormous burst damage at point-blank range while possessing one of the highest Health pools in the game.

His Super lets him shatter walls and enemy Brawlers. A bull is good for breaking through defenses and creating gaps in the enemy team. He can also quickly chase down ranged enemies and blast them.

Bull shines on maps with a lot of walls and bushes for him to sneak up on opponents before letting his Super loose!.

Bull Max Level Stats (Power 11)

To better understand Bull's durability and damage potential, here are his key stats at Power 11.

Bull's massive Health allows him to take a lot of punishment before being taken out, and the five shot shells he delivers at short range provide him with some of the most damage burst in Brawl Stars. His Super provides utility for movement as well as an initiating ability, making him incredibly dangerous if executed correctly.

How to Obtain Bull in Brawl Stars

Bull is available through multiple progression methods.

Starr Road

Players can unlock Bull using Credits through the Starr Road once he becomes available in their progression path.

Starr Drops

Bull can also be obtained through Starr Drops. Although luck-based, this provides another opportunity to unlock him without spending Credits.

Brawl Stars Bull Skills and Abilities

Main Attack

Bull's primary attack, Double-Barrel, fires five shotgun shells in a wide spread.

Every shell deals decent damage when by itself, but hitting all five shells at point-blank can kill many Brawlers.

Bull's shotgun spread gives him the advantage when in face-to-face fights.

Super

Bull's Super, Bulldozer, sends him charging across the battlefield.

Bull smashes the walls at the start of the charge, and as he gets closer, he hits and slows the enemy on his path. By the end of the charge, the enemies around him are also slowed down. This ability is great for the initial engagement, for escaping, or simply by changing the cover the enemy team uses.

Hypercharge

Bull's Hypercharge, Jaws of Steel, significantly improves his survivability while using his Super.

Hypercharge gives Bull an attack buff, a damage bonus, and shields, enabling him to dive headfirst into any team composition without being killed quickly, making Bull particularly dangerous for enemy teams during the latter half of a match.

Brawl Stars Bull Best Build

Best Gadget

Stomper is the preferred Gadget for Bull.

Not just focused on the ability to move rapidly, the Stomper directly weakens enemies that come into its range and can even disable foes that have already been weakened. Bull is far better at coordinating his actions after the initiation, allowing him to hit with entire shotgun bursts far more consistently.

T-Bone Missile remains a situational alternative by providing both ranged damage and self-healing, but Stomper generally offers greater value in competitive matches.

Best Star Power

Tough Guy is Bull's strongest Star Power.

Once Bull's Health drops below the activation threshold, he gains a substantial damage reduction shield that dramatically increases his survivability during extended fights.

Although Berserker offers faster reload speed at low Health, Tough Guy's defensive value makes it the more consistent option across nearly every game mode.

Best Gears

The recommended Gear combination is Damage Gear and Shield Gear.

Damage Gear increases Bull’s burst when his HP gets below 50%, allowing him to deal more enemy’s quicker when in proximity battles. Shield Gear Additional Health is gained before the battle starts to enhance his durability on his way to getting in close range with enemies. When the map has lots of bushes, swapping Shield Gear with Speed Gear is also an effective strategy.

How to Play Bull Better in Brawl Stars

Best to use walls & bushes when moving around so you can get close without being noticed. It is best to wait until a teammate has engaged the enemy team, or wait until the enemy team has moved position or is distracted, rather than simply charging in across open space.

Try not to simply waste the super as damage. There will be times when breaking down some walls or moving around into a good position will have a much greater impact than using a super to kill one person.

Be extra careful when going up against long-range Brawlers, especially during the long run-up. Let the opponents use their big powers/attacks before unleashing a super to attack, and always ensure that you're within point-blank distance, for the shotguns’ maximum effect.

The more damage a Brawler can soak up, the better he/she is in any objective-based matches. Don’t be afraid to take some damage so that other members of your team can continue to push and control the map.

Bull Key Strengths and Weaknesses

Bull thrives when he can force close-range engagements, but his effectiveness drops significantly if enemies keep their distance.

Strengths

Bull has the largest single-shot burst damage in the game. Bull can pick off several brawlers instantly when he gets all five shotgun shells to hit. His huge Health Pool allows Bull to walk all the way up to the enemy, while his Super allows him to get into the fight quickly, break through walls, and get a different attack angle.

Furthermore, his Tank Trait automatically charges his Super each time he takes damage, allowing him to use his Super repeatedly throughout long games. The addition of the correct Star Power can make him almost unkillable in close-range fights.

Weaknesses

Bull is extremely weak to long-range Brawlers who will constantly kite him until they’re out of shotgun range. As Bull loses his damage from afar really quickly, misplaced engagement will do next to nothing to him. His Super can even work against you if not used correctly, as charging into numerous enemies alone will almost guarantee you get shut down instantly by the enemy team. Bull’s potential hinges upon his positioning and sense of the battlefield.

Bull Best Build

Based on the current competitive meta, the most reliable Bull build is:

Gadget: Stomper

Star Power: Tough Guy

Gears: Damage Gear and Shield Gear

This build represents the best ratio of durability vs pressure the bull has to offer. Tough Guy makes Bull harder to kill at crucial moments, and Stomper grants a good bit of crowd control to finish foes after charging in. Damage gear further enhances the bull's already devastating burst up close, and shield gear makes him more durable prior to engagement.

Bull is a solid choice in Duo Showdown, where teammates can help cover his weaknesses against ranged opponents.
