How Team Building Works in Fate War

A successful team should include heroes that complement each other's abilities instead of competing for the same role.

A standard team generally consists of:

Best Hero Roles

Selecting the best heroes within their roll is how to start building the strongest team in Fate War. Granted, high Rar Commander will certainly have a more powerful skill, if the team isn't balanced and have their role synergetic, the team will fail far more than just a single team of synergic heroes. Every Hero, depending on his role will take the damage, do High DPS, heal the party or keep the whole team alive.

Tank

Tanks are your frontline defenders, responsible for absorbing enemy attacks and protecting your damage dealers. They typically have high Defense and Health, making them essential for surviving difficult stages, boss fights, and competitive battles. A durable tank allows the rest of your team to deal damage safely without being overwhelmed by enemy attacks. Recommended Heroes are: Reid, Rex. Voll.

Main DPS

Main DPS is the main damage dealer in your team and should have the lion's share of your upgrades. Having a single, powerful damage dealer early on is much more effective than midge small upgrades across multiple heroes. A good damage dealer will clear mobs efficiently and allow you to progress much faster. Recommended Heroes are: Yi Sun-sin, Erin, Amaterasu, Helda.

Secondary DPS

The secondary DPS heroes are there to supply a bit more burst damage (or continuous damage) while your main carries are doing their thing. They can help to make short work of enemy creeps; they nuke down damaged heroes and overall, they add to your team's damage. Having a solid secondary DPS to go along with your main damage dealer is the way to go for sustained, steady damage in both PvE and PVP. Recommended Heroes are: Freya, Selena, Kaira

Support

Support heroes strengthen your team with additional buffs/debuffs, crowd control, or utility skills-such as increasing your team's damage, decreasing enemy damage, or some form of survivability. A strong support hero is a valuable addition for any longer fight. Recommended Heroes are: Roro, Vista, Carl.

Healer

Healers will help keep your team's Health up and make you more survivable on longer fights. They are indispensable when faced with a boss, advancing up the campaign or fighting in high end PvE content, where keepin everyone alive long enough to winning is important. Recommended Hero is: Iris.

A solid healer like Iris combines well in many party builds, and there's very few team matrices she doesn't fit into. Because she is so strong and so versatile, she's a must-have support hero until quite late in the game.

Best Teams for Beginners

Early-game players should prioritize heroes that are easy to obtain and upgrade.

Yi Sun-sin and Amaterasu deal stable damage when facing normal waves or even formidable bosses that can take down many characters in seconds, so you can clear the stage with ease. While the other is a front-line tank who always take in damage while protecting your DDs, the roro offer great buffs and utility to give your team a added edge, Iris is a reliable Healer who keep everyone alive for an extended period of time. With this well-rounded team composition, you can expect top-tier performance in the Story Campaign, Resource Farming, Time-limited Event, and Boss Hunt, which surely great in every PvE situation in the Fate War game.

Best PvP Team

PvP focuses on burst damage and eliminating enemy carries quickly.

Position	Hero
Tank	Reid
Main DPS	Erin
Secondary DPS	Freya

The Freya + Erin combination is considered one of the strongest cavalry pairings thanks to its explosive burst damage against backline targets.

Best F2P Team

These heroes are still efficient during early and mid-game, but spent less on premiums.

Conclusion

Building a strong team in Fate War is more than just accumulating powerful heroes; it involves strategic resource management, synergizing team roles, and thinking ahead. Instead of trying to upgrade each Legendary hero you acquire, concentrate your resources on developing one primary damage dealer. Additionally, selecting a single troop type to focus research benefits and hero synergies will make your team more effective. Remember, while a team that covers all roles can be effective, a team with well-matched roles often yields better results.
