Marvel Rivals Jubilee: Abilities, Role & Release Date

The X-Men’s “brightest” member is finally coming to Marvel Rivals, fireworks and all. The version of her in-game has even been confirmed to be a vampire, taking inspiration from her story in the comics. Jubilee is coming to the game as a strategist during Season 9, the first since White Fox all the way back in Season 7. And like White Fox, Jubilee seems to be centred around aggressive gameplay.

Her character showcase doesn’t exactly make it obvious what she does, so let’s breakdown Jubilee’s abilities. We’ll even go over her team-ups. And if you want her Vampire skin that’s launching alongside her in Season 9, you can get it at the best price from OLD STORE . From her primary fire to her Ultimate ability and even team-ups, here’s everything she can do.

Explaining All of Jubilee’s Abilities From Her Marvel Rivals Reveal Trailer

Left Click/Primary Fire: Energy Plasmoids

Jubilee’s primary fire is a fully automatic projectile that does decent damage and holds 48 rounds. Unlike Rocket’s primary automatic projectiles, Jubilee’s also heal allies on impact. She doesn’t have a secondary fire like Rocket, but her primary’s speed can be boosted by triggering “Sparkle Marks”. These are related to her passive, which is related to her passive, which is…

Passive Ability: Sparkle Mark

Sparkle Marks are arguably the most important part of Jubilee’s kit, and makes her both a much stronger healer or damage dealer. You can put these marks on both teammates and opponents. Hitting them with Energy Plasmoids will pop the Sparkle Marks.

Popping marks on enemies deals extra damage to them, while popping them on allies gives a Healing Boost and Bonus Health. Popping these marks will also let Jubilee fire infinitely at a much higher fire rate for a short period of time without requiring any reload.

Right Click: Blooming Ball

You can fire Jubilee’s right click near allies, which will make a sphere spawn. These spheres heal all teammates inside them. Firing them near a teammate will make the sphere automatically target the teammate and spawn around them. They start off small, but these Blooming Balls can increase in size and effectiveness if you heal allies inside them, hit enemies around them, or hit the glowing centre of the sphere.

The healing is great at max size, and can fit multiple teammates easily. Alternatively, you can use Blooming Ball to target enemies and deal damage to them. She has two of these spheres total, and each one lasts for 6s. They can also be called back before they expire in 6s by pressing F. This ability has a secondary effect related to her E ability, which we’ll go over next.

E Ability: Dazzling Detonation

Along with pressing F to recall Blooming Balls, you can also press E to “ignite” them. This is the Dazzling Detonation ability, and using it while allies or enemies are inside will apply a Sparkle Mark on them. You can use these to heal allies faster or damage enemies faster. On top of that, Dazzling Detonation will give allies a Speed Boost. Detonating the sphere around enemies will apply a Blind effect and leave them Vulnerable to damage as well.

L-Shift Ability: Sparking Sprint

Sparking Sprint works like a traversal ability, giving Jubilee a quick speed boost. She moves much quicker, can jump much higher, attacks much quicker, and has no need to reload while the ability is active. Sparking Sprint will also create an energy field around Jubilee after it’s over. This field will knockback enemies and damage them, while also healing any enemies nearby.

Q/Ultimate Ability: Firework Finale

Jubilee’s Ultimate causes fireworks to appear around her in circle clusters. The area within this cluster will heal all allies and damage all enemies. You can even increase or decrease the area manually, expanding the firework clusters outward or keeping them close. The closer they are, the quicker they’ll move, doing high healing or damage in a small area. Or you can send them out further, doing decent healing and damage but in a much larger area.

The clusters that spin around will also do a lot more healing or damage if they directly hit allies/opponents. This is difficult to lineup since everyone’s constantly moving in-game, but during a tight team-fight on Domination maps, it could make her ult wipe out teams, or stop yours from being wiped out instead. As a secondary effect, expanding the area of these clusters will launch enemies away, while retracting them will pull enemies closer.

How Do Jubilee’s Team-Ups Work?

As announced by NetEase, all Heroes will have two team-ups from now on. Even brand-new ones like Jubilee. Additionally, they have two separate effects depending on whether the team-up partner is on your team or not. Her team-up partners are Blade, and Season 9.5’s confirmed Hero, “The Hood”. Here’s how they work:

Jubilee’s Team-Up With Blade: Vampiric Kin

Both of them being vampires, it’s only fitting Jubilee gets a team-up with Blade. Pressing C will release a red field across a large radius around Jubilee. As a base effect (when your team has no Blade) any allies standing inside this field will get Life Steal for all damage dealt. This applies to Jubilee as well. However, when Blade is on the team, the enhanced effect will provide healing to everyone inside the radius on top of the Life Steal.

Jubilee’s Team-Up With The Hood: Hellfire Sparks

Since The Hood isn’t in Marvel Rivals yet, this team-up can’t be activated yet. However, based on the description, Hellfire Sparks will allow Jubilee to turn her primary fire into hitscan that can even deal critical hits to enemies. It sounds cool, but for now we can’t see it in action until Season 9.5 releases later on.

Conclusion

Jubilee is a very welcome new addition to the Strategist lineup after so long, and it looks like she’ll fit right in with the top-tiers. Her primary, abilities, and ultimate all look useful with very good team-ups to go along with them as well. You can try her out soon once she releases alongside Season 9 on July 10, 2026.
