Mega Diancie ex - An Overview

Mega Diancie ex is one of many new cards that were first introduced in Everyday Wonders, the newest expansion of Pokémon TCG Pocket. Below are the details about the Mega Diancie ex card:

Similar to some other cards from Everyday Wonders, Mega Diancie ex doesn’t have a special ability. However, its skill, Brilliant Storm, is what the enemy would fear from this Pokémon.

This skill only requires three colorless energies and is able to deal 40+ damage. For each Psychic Energy attached to your Pokémon, it will gain a 20 damage boost. So by applying more energy, you can easily gain more than a hundred damage per turn, which is insane.

How to Get Mega Diancie ex Card

As mentioned above, Mega Diancie ex is obtainable starting from the release of the expansion. Below are some ways you can obtain this card:

• Mega Diancie ex is obtainable from the Picnic Pack of Everyday Wonders. The pull rate is 0%, 0.333%, and 1.333% for the first three pulls, fourth, and fifth.

• Mega Diancie can be crafted using 500 Pack Points of Everyday Wonders. So if you didn’t get it on your first try, spend some currency to pull more cards to get the points.

• This Pokémon can be obtained from trading. What you need is 5000 Shinedust and a 4-Diamond rarity Pokémon.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Diancie ex Deck

Looking at the skill alone, Mega Diancie ex is really strong on its own. However, there’s a Pokémon that can synergize well with it, which is Mega Gardevoir ex.

Mega Diancie ex and Mega Gardevoir ex Deck

The best Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Diance ex deck is only possible when you put the Mega Gardevoir ex card in it. What we’ll need from it is the Fantasia Force, a skill that can deal serious damage while being able to draw three Psychic energy to be attached to your Psychic Pokémon.

On top of that, we’ll use Maloetta as well to draw the Psychic Pokémon as fast as possible from your deck. Having Maloetta will speed up your setup by a lot. However, just like any deck in the Pokémon TCG Pocket game, there are a few pros and cons that you need to consider:

Pros:

• Mega Diancie ex can deal a lot of damage, especially when combined with Mega Gardevoir ex.

• Mega Gardevoir ex is a key here to draw as much energy as you need.

Weakness:

• This deck is really weak against Metal Pokémon.

The Cards You’ll Need

Below is the list of cards you need to build the Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Diancie ex deck:

How to Use Mega Diancie ex Deck

The key play of the Mega Diance ex deck here is to make sure that this Pokémon has the amount of energy it needs to unleash the skill and have the damage buff. So, you’ll be relying on the Mega Gardevoir ex card a lot, especially in the early phases of the battle.

We know that Mega Pokémon can be easily countered by Pom-Pom Oricorio, which can simply negate the damage. For that reason, we will use Xerneas, a non-Mega Pokémon, to defeat it as quickly as possible.

How to Counter Mega Diance ex Deck

Since this Pokémon will have more energy that will continue to pile up, it would be best to punish it using a Pokémon that can turn energy stacks into a liability. The Pokémon we’re looking for here is the Indeedee ex.

This rather small Pokémon has the skill called Psychic, a 30-damage attack that can also deal 30 more damage for each energy attached to the enemy’s Pokémon. Imagine how much damage you can deal to Mega Diancie ex when it has more than five energy attached to it.

Conclusion

There’s no question that Everyday Wonders has introduced us to a lot of useful and colorful Pokémon. While there might be some Pokémon that have a higher value for collecting, Mega Diancie ex is definitely unforgettable for its usefulness and skill.
