Where Wuthering Waves version 3.5 Pulls Come From (Version 3.5 Breakdown)
To better understand how Version 3.5 reaches such a high pull count, this section breaks down each source of Astrites and pulls available throughout Version 3.5. We'll cover rewards from daily activities, end-game resets, exploration, story content, shop refreshes, and limited-time events, so you can clearly see which pulls are guaranteed through daily login, which are one-time claimables, and which are time-limited. Below is the Wuthering Waves 3.5 Pull Count Full Breakdown:
Regular Rewards
Regular rewards are earned through regular login during Version 3.5. These sources reset on a daily, weekly, or patch basis. Below are the main regular reward sources you can take advantage of during the patch:
Dailies
Daily commissions are one of the most reliable sources of Astrites in Version 3.5. The update runs for a full 42 days, and completing daily commissions each day rewards 60 Astrites. 60 Astrites à 42 days = 2,520 Astrites. This portion of the pull count is fully guaranteed as long as you log in and complete your dailies consistently throughout the patch.
Whimpering Wastes
Whimpering Wastes is a rotating end-game mode where stages are graded based on performance. Faster clear times result in higher scores and better ranks, which directly affect the amount of rewards you receive. Whimpering Wastes will reset once during Version 3.5, providing a total of 800 Astrites assuming you clear all available rewards.
Tower of Adversity
Tower of Adversity is an end-game combat mode that challenges players with a series of high-difficulty stages. To fully clear all rewards, Rovers will need 3 to 4 well-built teams to handle different floors and enemies. Tower of Adversity resets twice during Version 3.5. Each reset provides up to 800 Astrites, for a total of 1,600 Astrites across the entire update.
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways is a permanent weekly challenge mode that resets once per week and rewards 160 Astrites per clear. Given that Version 3.5 runs for roughly 6 weeks, this results in a total of 960 Astrites obtainable from Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways over the course of the update.
Endstate Matrix
Endstate Matrix is Wuthering Waves' most challenging end-game mode. Typically requiring 5 to 6 well-built teams to fully clear due to its difficulty and roster demands. This mode resets once per patch and, assuming a full clear, provides a total of 400 Astrites during Version 3.5.
1-Time Limited Claim Rewards
One-time rewards can only be claimed once during Version 3.5 and do not reset. These include rewards from exploration, story content, compensation mails, and other limited sources. Below are the one-time reward sources available in Version 3.5:
New Area Exploration - Xuanfang
Version 3.5 introduces a new explorable area, Xuanfang. By fully exploring the map and clearing its objectives, Rovers can earn a sizable pool of Astrites from exploration progress along with additional Astrites from trophies tied to the new area. Final totals will be locked in at release.
- Main Story - Ch. 4: The Wind Before the Storm & Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled
The main story for Version 3.5 spans Chapter 4 across both phases. The Wind Before the Storm launches in Phase 1 alongside the update, setting up the conflict brewing across Xuanfang. Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled arrives in Phase 2, resolving the arc's core threads, followed by the Segue: The Chant of Unseen Ties. Completing all three quests grants a total of 500 Astrites. Two additional side stories, Autopuppets in Fog Veiled Chambers and Faithful Heart Tested at Skyfall, contribute another 200 Astrites combined.
Tactical Hologram and Resonator Skill Trials
The new Tactical Hologram challenge introduced in Version 3.5 features Denia and rewards Astrites across its multiple stages, for a total of 120 Astrites. Resonator Skill Trials for the new characters add another 20 Astrites.
Mail (Codes & Compensation)
After the Version 3.5 maintenance, Wuthering Waves provides 300 Astrites as compensation, which can be claimed from in-game mail and remains available throughout the patch.
